MonoSol Announces Price Increase

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., December 8, 2021 – MonoSol today announced it will raise the price for water-soluble films made in the United States by a minimum of 6 percent beginning January 10, 2022, or as contracts allow.

“MonoSol has absorbed global price increases over the past year while maintaining uninterrupted supply and price stability for our customers throughout the pandemic,” said Christian Herrmanns, Executive Vice President and Deputy General Manager, MonoSol, LLC. “It is now obvious that the extreme cost pressure on raw materials and freight is not transitory and requires pricing adjustments to maintain the quality and service our customers have come to expect from us.”
