MonoSol Announces Executive Leadership Changes
MERRILLVILLE, Ind. – November 25, 2021 – The Kuraray Group and MonoSol announced today that P. Scott Bening will pass the leadership of MonoSol to Christian Herrmanns. Effective January 1, 2022, Mr. Herrmanns will become President of MonoSol LLC and General Manager of the MonoSol Division of Kuraray Group.
Mr. Bening, who led the growth of MonoSol for over 32 years, will continue as a member of the MonoSol Board and assume a newly established role within Kuraray as Executive Advisor for its Global Innovation Network Center, a cross-functional initiative designed to accelerate the development of sustainable new product innovations.
“Leading MonoSol for the last three decades has been an extraordinary honor, growing it from a single factory into the powerhouse it is today. This transition is the culmination of years of hard work and excellent partnerships and being surrounded by excellent people. Mr. Herrmanns joined MonoSol in 2013 as Director of Marketing and Business Development. He was appointed Executive Vice President and Deputy General Manager in 2020, with responsibility for overseeing all commercial, R&D and procurement activities.
