MonoSol compatability services

Take the First Step with Compatibility Testing

The first step to creating convenient and sustainable dissolvable packaging design solutions is testing the compatibility of your product with different films. Chemical substances can influence the solubility and physical characteristics of water-soluble films. Product compatibility testing is essential in determining which PVA film grade is the best fit for your custom packaging design.

As part of our commitment to serve our customers, we use our state-of-the-art laboratory to test the compatibility of MonoSol’s films with our customers’ products by analyzing film flexibility, discoloration, moisture content and solubility.

The outcome of the test is a customized report which provides a comprehensive written analysis, detailing technical specificities and optimal solutions.

Typical Products Tested in our Laboratory

  • Detergents
  • Fungicides
  • Insecticides
  • Herbicides
  • Disinfectants/Biocides

Find out if your product is compatible with our water-soluble films in three easy steps.

STEP 1  Contact us about your product and supply the safety data sheet (SDS). This information is reviewed by the MonoSol sales and technical teams for an initial screening.

STEP 2 Your account manager will contact you with the suggested scope of your custom water-soluble packaging project. If the product cannot be tested at our facility, we will discuss other testing options with you.

STEP 3 Upon completion of testing, a comprehensive report will be provided, including laboratory observations, comparative data and a recommendation of MonoSol film(s) that perform optimally with your product.
