Biodegradable, water-soluble materials draw interest in applications for single-use plastics
Kuraray’s MonoSol division announced plans to further expand its operations with the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Poland. Additionally, the company confirmed plans to increase manufacturing capacity at its recently completed plant near Indianapolis in Lebanon, Indiana. MonoSol is an integral part of Tokyo-based Kuraray Group, a leading global specialty chemical company.
To meet increasing demand for its water-soluble and biodegradable films, Kuraray’s MonoSol Division is planning to build a new manufacturing facility in Poland and increase capacity at its recently completed plant near Indianapolis in Lebanon, Indiana (USA).

Merrillville-based MonoSol will build a new factory in Poland to meet growing global demand and will expand production capacity at its newly built plant in Lebanon in downstate Indiana.
