Product compatibility testing is critical to ensuring the success of your water soluble film project since some products can reverse the solubility characteristics of the film. MonoSol offers in-house compatibility testing for a nominal charge or will support testing in your labs.
To enter a product for testing at MonoSol, there are steps, which must be followed for us to adhere to safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.

First, complete our "Take The First Step" questionnaire on-line and mail or fax copies of the product's MSDS to MonoSol. The information will be reviewed for acceptance in our facility.

If a product is accepted for testing, we will specify the product quantity needed. A written purchase order must accompany the product. If your product is not accepted for testing at our facility, we can discuss other options at that time.
When we receive the specified product quantity and purchase order, testing will begin. It usually takes six weeks to receive the final report, but timing can be affected by lab availability and the amount of testing involved.
Upon completion of testing, you will receive a full report giving our observations and recommendations of the films, which exhibited optimum performance with your product. You can review the report to determine which MonoSol? film to use. You may choose to conduct further testing at your own facility or begin scale up production. Finally, you may place your first order for MonoSol? water soluble film!
