DissolvoSack™ is a soluble membrane laundry bag with the added protection of an overlapped slit. This protects the soluble membrane from contact with damp linen placed in the bag. Click here for standard sizes.
DissolvoSacks are sealed and put in the washing machine. During the initial wash, the tie tape and soluble membrane “dissolve,” releasing the contents of the bag for processing. At the end of the wash cycle, the linen is removed for drying and the DissolvoSack™ (a clean sheet of film) is removed and discarded.
The DissolvoSack™ is ideal for nursing and residential homes. It is suitable for cold, warm and hot washes, therefore making it suitable for use with personal clothing.
Dissolvo Patient Clothing & Staff Uniform Bags
To eliminate unnecessary handling of soiled or infected garments and reducing the effects of unpleasant odors, the Patient Clothing Bag and Staff Uniform Bags are water-soluble membrane laundry bags ideal for containing clothing destined for home washing or single garment laundering at a hospital. Garments are placed into the bag and sealed using the pink tie tape.
Suitable for both hot and cold washes, the Patient Clothing Bag is then placed unopened into the washing machine. During the initial wash cycle, the soluble membrane and tie tape dissolve, releasing the contents of the bag into the washing machine. Once the wash cycle is complete, the clean bag contents can be discarded safely in any municipal waste stream.
Patients Clothing Bags are white with an orange stripe and available
in compact dispenser boxes of 100 bags and are suitable for use in
domestic washing machines.
Staff Uniform Bags are white color with a blue stripe and are available in compact dispenser boxes of 100 bags suitable for use in domestic washing machines.
