MonoSol LLC Wins 2006 Techpoint Mira Award
May 25th, 2006 – MonoSol LLC, the world leader in developing
and commercializing specialty water soluble products, announced
today that it won the Techpoint Mira Award. As Indiana 's largest
and most influential technology organization, Techpoint hosts
the Mira Awards to recognize companies that have made outstanding
contributions to technology, fueled the economy and generated
global recognition.

” Two of the latest products introduced by MonoSol – the F-100
Edible Ingredient Film and the TerraLOC™ family of dust abatement
products – are prime examples of what can come from MonoSol’s
drive to innovate.
The new F-100 Edible-Ingredient Film, made of FDA-approved
ingredients, was developed for unit-dose packaging of dry ingredients
used in mixing and batching operations within the food processing
industry. Packaging food ingredients in pouches of MonoSol’s
edible film improves the accuracy of mixing operations and
enhances convenience.
TerraLOC™ is a new family of products used as dust palliatives,
soil erosion control and anchoring agents developed to be used
on unpaved roads, mines, airfields, helipads, commercial and
residential construction sites, road constructions sites and
other military and civilian locations. It can also be used
to prevent asbestos to be airborne during demolition operations.
MonoSol’s comprehensive growth strategy combines organic expansion
