Packaging
Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH) Film is very sensitive to relative humidity (RH) and temperature. Users should monitor room conditions during storage and film conversion.

Storage
  • Storage areas should be maintained as close as possible to 73?F (23?C) and 50% RH. Avoid storage in freezing conditions. Film should remain in its HDPE wrap when stored; the film should be conditioned in conversion areas for 48 hours prior to use.

Conversion

  • While the ideal room conditions vary slightly for individual films, best results will be achieved if Relative Humidity is maintained between 40% and 60%.
  • If the film is not completely used during conversion the film should be repackaged in the HDPE outer wrap and stored properly until resuming conversion.
